Deja Vu

The summer was beautiful but all too short and last year's heavy deep snows are still a recent, vivid memory and now, here we go again!! And, as if this isn't enough, we're expecting another 2 feet in the next couple of days. We may need a snorkel to get out by then!

Mikey, clearing the driveway after the latest storm...

Muriel on snowshoes uncovering one of the young trees we planted this fall... Muriel's snowshoes...a valuable tool for getting around in hip-deep snow...

Chairs on the rear patio overlooking the hole in the snow that is the pond. Picnic anyone?

Snowy tree face...

Dude checking out Mikey's snowblower work...

Front porch...somewhere anyway!

Bedroom windows & reflection of Muriel on showshoes

BBQ anyone?

Wow! Those snowshoes are a most excellent idea. Hope you have plenty of supplies to hunker down through this.

Oh! Can the UPS guy still get through?

wow you are fast in leaving comment. I was still editing. The road is plowed and the driveway is cleared so UPS should be able to get through, at least until the next round of snow.

Holy cow! The boys are in complete awe. They want to come visit and play in the snow. I told them the snow is deeper than they are tall! I can't believe all of that..how many inches or feet are out there now?

lol they would have a blast. We could even let them sled down the driveway, all 200 plus yards. We have between 3 to 4 feet with some drifts over 5 feet. We are expecting another 12 plus inches starting tonight through XMAS.

That is CRAZY!!! The boys have a snow tube..we could push them down the driveway in that! It would be like Christmas Vacation when Clark sleds down that steep hill! That would make for some great video!
