Not really, actually Muriel went in this week for some minor surgery on her nose. She had a strange little dimple on her nose that turned out to be skin cancer, but it is the kind that stays local, so the surgery was the cure. Her nose is hidden in bandages (should have seen the big bandage before they put this smaller one on) until Tuesday while it heals. In the meantime, Mikey is having ‘fun’ with her picture! Well, I got my stitches out today but have to wear bandaids for the next 3 weeks to protect the skin graft. Don't want the darn thing getting ripped off. Yikes. Looks pretty wicked now, but should improve a lot with time. So actually I feel better wearing a Snoopy bandaid :-)
Little Einstein band-aids and Backyardigan band-aids are awesome too. Also, we have a few Halloween ones with bats and spiderwebs left I think. Should I send them priority? ;)

After 2 1/2 weeks, its getting better, but progress is slow. It will take 8 weeks to fully heal, but should improve in appearance over the following 9 months. Maybe I will not only be a character, but look like one too!
